Day1. Arrival at Kigali Airport and Hotel transfer
First and foremost, on arrival on this 7day Uganda and Rwanda fly-in safari will be a transfer to Ruhengeri in the northern part of Rwanda to Volcanoes national park a home to endangered mountain gorillas. The journey to the park takes about 2 hours’ drive through the scenic hills of Rwanda. You will stop at any interesting point for taking pictures.

Day2. Gorilla tracking in Volcanoes National Park and transfer to Uganda
Early breakfast at the lodge, and then after you will be transferred to the park headquarters for a short briefing about the dos and don’ts while with the gorilla, and later you will continue to the forest to begin the search of gorillas in the bamboo slopes of volcanoes national park. Gorilla trekking is known as one of the most exciting activity in the park. The search for the gorillas can last between 2-6 hours, meeting them depends on where they last spent their night from. Day3. Gorilla tracking in Bwindi
Additionally, after early breakfast, report to the park headquarters for a vital briefing and allocation of the gorilla family before you set off gorilla trekking. after a successful briefing from the park wardens and ranger guides, you will now be ready to go for real experience in the impenetrable forest, it’s not an usual and easy exercise as someone may think, the trek involves passing through tough and sometimes muddy forest while searching the endangered mountain gorillas so for the weak ones, we advise you to take Porters to help you during the Gorilla trekking experience while in the jungle.
7 days Uganda and Rwanda: The trekking time is unpredictable since meeting them depends on where they last spent their night from, however it may go between 2 to 8 hours and you will come back to your Lodge to refresh and relaxation. Day4. Fly to Queen Elizabeth National Park by a plane
On this day after a hearty breakfast at the lodge, you will fly to Queen Elizabeth National park Uganda’s finest park for game viewing. On arrival at Mweya Airstrip, you will get picked up by your safari driver-guide who will drive you to your pre- booked lodge as you enjoy a game drive to the lodge. Arrive in time at the lodge for relaxation and lunch, if the evening is free, you will go for katwa salt lake later dinner, and overnight stay.

Day5. Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise
After breakfast at the lodge, go for an early morning game drive through the park for an opportunity to see the early risen species such as the hyenas, wildebeest and many other different wildlife species like waterbucks, lions, elephants, giraffes, antelopes, buffaloes, leopards, warthogs, plus a variety of bird species.
You will also view different crater lakes in the park. After this 3 hours game drive, head back to the lodge for lunch and relaxation as you prepare for the afternoon 2 hour boat cruise along the Kazinga channel. The kazinga channel connects two lakes George and Edward and it’s a beautiful place to see more species of wildlife along the shores, it’s a home to over 560 hippos; also birds and other animals like crocodiles, elephants, antelopes among others will be seen. Lead to the forest to begin the search of our closest relatives, the trek will last for 3-4 hours and once they there are met, you are strictly allowed to spend one hour with them in their natural habitat. Chimps are fabulous fun to watch as they swing from the branches in the canopy high above the forest floor, is a thrilling experience. Retire to the lodge for in the afternoon for lunch and then after, you will fly to Entebbe to catch your departure flight back if scheduled on this day making the end of a 7day Uganda and Rwanda fly-in safari.
