Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Pick up from hotel in Kampala/airport and transfer to Bwindi.
You will straightaway be picked from either Entebbe or at Hotel in Kampala by our safari guide/ driver who gets you briefed about the safari. And later drive you to south western part of Uganda to Bwindi impenetrable national park a home to giant gorillas. The journey will let you pass via beautiful sceneries and rolling hills. Additionally you will have two stopovers before reaching the park one at the Equator for an informative talks and also to buy some crafts and photograph. Another stopover will be in Mbarara for lunch and relaxation.
Then continue to the magnificent forest with scenic drive through Kigezi Highlands [commonly referred as “the Switzerland of Uganda”] and eventually through the banana plantations arriving at the gorilla Sanctuary of Bwindi NP. Bwindi is specifically a big habitat for mountain gorillas in Uganda harboring over 350 of them, more reason as to why it should be your safari destination and other primate species reaching in the evening. Day 2: Mountain Gorilla trekking safari-village walk
Firstly, after a cup of tea or coffee, the guide will then take you to the park headquarters for a short briefing about the dos and don’ts while with the gorillas and also get allocated to the gorilla group to trek.
Secondly, Bwindi national park hosts the highest number of these gentle giants in the world almost a half of the remaining mountain gorillas live in this park. Lastly, Gorilla trekking experience depends on where they spent their last night from and once they are met you are strictly allowed only one hour with the gorillas. However, just in case some of you are not interested in tracking gorillas, you can certainly go for a short guided forest walk or Village walk to the Batwa community. Later retire at the lodge in order to relax.

Day 3: Transfer to Masai Mara via Entebbe
On this day of 6 Days Magical Gorilla trekking and Masai Mara safari, after an early morning breakfast, proceed to Entebbe. From here you will catch up with our flight to Masai Mara from Entebbe international airport. Upon arrival, you will meet our safari driver, guide, he will brief you about the safari and later drive you to your pre-booked accommodation, check in for relaxation, if the evening is free go for brief game drive in the park and search for some animals games expected to see include lions, leopards, hyenas, buffaloes, rare species of Giraffes, Zebras, impala and many others. Return to our lodge for dinner and overnight

A morning breakfast is followed with a departure for an exciting morning game drive in the park. Games expected to see include like Lions, Elephants, Cheetahs, Buffaloes, Rhinos, Leopards, Maasai giraffes, zebras, Elands, and, of course, wildebeests and a plethora of birds. Return to the lodge for lunch before going on an evening game drive to see some of the animals you might have missed earlier in the day.

Day 5: Morning and afternoon game drives
Spend another day in the park enjoying game drives in the park, as we memorize our past game drives and game drive experience in bwindi national park in Uganda, this time the viewing will be made in another sector of Masai Mara national park. Our main emphasis will be on the missed wildlife in our previous game drives. We also have an optional Hot air balloon safaris booked and paid early at an extra cost.
Depending on the time visit to this wonderful park, we can also stand a chance for the wildebeest migration experience. If you visit from June to September, You will spend this days along the Mara River viewing millions of animals crossing the majestic Mara River from Tanzania Serengeti national park. Retire to our lodge for late lunch, additionally, you will also visit a community cultural visit to the Maasai manyattas. Enjoy the untapped Masai culture that has been there for years. You will actively involve on some of the activities like traditional jumping dance, milking of cows and many others, it’s a wonderful experience. Dinner and overnight at our lodge.
