5 Days Uganda Wildlife safari : This 5 days 4 nights Uganda wildlife safari will start and end in Entebbe, the tour will take you to one of the most visited parks in Uganda including Bwindi impenetrable national park for gorilla trekking. Bwindi impenetrable national park is known for hosting the highest number of these remaining apes in the world over 400 of these giants leave only in this park.
The tour will also take to Queen Elizabeth national park a home to a wide biodiversity of wildlife species including the rare tree climbing lions that live in the Ishasah an extension of the park. Game viewing and boat cruise along the Kazinga channel will be the major highlight for this tour while in the park. Both Bwindi and Queen national parks are located in the south western part of the park.

Full Itinerary for Uganda Wildlife safari
Day 1: Travel to Bwindi impenetrable
You will be picked from either Entebbe or hotel in Kampala by our safari guide/ driver gets you briefed about the safari and later drive you to south western part of Uganda to Bwindi impenetrable national park a home to giant gorillas. The journey to the park will let you pass via the beautiful sceneries and rolling hills. You will have two stopovers before reaching the park one at the Equator to buy crafts and take photos and another one will be in Mbarara for lunch. From here you will continue to the magnificent forest and a home to mountain gorillas arrive in the evening. Check into your pre-booked accommodation for dinner and overnight stay at;

Day 2: Mountain Gorilla trekking safari-village walk
After a cup of tea or coffee, the guide will take you to the park headquarters for a short briefing about the dos and don’ts while with the gorillas and also get allocated to the gorilla group to trek. Bwindi national park host the highest number of these gentle giants in the world almost a half of the remaining mountain gorillas live in this park. Not only gorillas but also the park is a home to other species like butterflies, plants, primates, mammals, butterflies, frogs, among others.
Gorilla trekking experience last between 1-8 hours since meeting them depends on where they spent their last night from and once they are met you are strictly allowed only one hour with the gorillas taking photos as well as watching their behaviors . Just in case some of you are not interested in tracking gorillas, you can go for a short guided forest walk or Village walk to the Batwa community. Retire at the lodge.

Day 3: Travel to Queen Elizabeth via the Ishasha sector
On this day after breakfast, you will be driven to Queen Elizabeth national park passing through the Ishasha sector an extension of Queen Elizabeth national park which is well known for its tree climbing lions and other wildlife species such as monkeys, kobs, buffaloes, elephants, birds among others. Search for tree climbing lions and later drive to the park. Upon arrival at the park you will check in at the lodge, enjoy a yummy lunch relax in the evening you may go for a guided game drive and search for various game species that reside in the park including buffaloes, elephants antelopes. Day 4: Game drive & a boat cruise – Kazinga Channel
After breakfast at the lodge, go for an early morning game drive through the park for an opportunity to see the early risen species such as the hyenas, wildebeest and many other different wildlife species like water bucks, lions, elephants, , giraffes, antelopes, buffaloes, leopards, warthogs, plus a variety of bird species.
You will also view different crater lakes in the park. After this 3 hours game drive, head back to the lodge for lunch and relaxation as you prepare for the afternoon 2 hour boat cruise along the Kazinga channel. The kazinga channel connects two lakes George and Edward and it’s a beautiful place to see more species of wildlife along the shores, it’s a home to over 560 hippos; also birds and other animals like crocodiles, elephants, antelopes among others will be seen. Return to the lodge and have dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Morning game drive as you Depart to Kampala

Important to note while trekking on a 5 Days Uganda Wildlife Safari
- No flashlight camera is allowed when taking photos of gorillas and if your camera has, please turn it off
- Keep a distance of 7 meters at all times away from mountain gorillas
- Keep your voices low while on the trek but feel free to ask as many questions as possible
- Do not go for gorilla trekking if you are not feeling well
- Do not smoke, drink or eat in the presence of gorillas
- Keep within your group and never surround gorillas
- Only persons above 15 years are allowed to trek gorillas
- You have only an hour to have face to face encounter with gorillas
