Detailed Itinerary 5 Day Uganda Family Tour

Day 1: Leave Kampala / Entebbe  to Queen Elizabeth

You will be picked from either Entebbe or your hotel in Kampala by our safari guide/ driver who will get you briefed about the safari and later he will drive you to the south western part of Uganda to Queen Elizabeth national park a home to a wide biodiversity of animal species. You will pass via the beautiful sceneries and landscape. Also, you will have two stopovers before reaching the park one at the Equator crossing to buy crafts and take photos as well as getting informative informative from the caretakers and another stopover in Mbarara for lunch. From here, you will continue to the park check into your pre- booked lodge for relaxation dinner and an overnight. If you arrive in time you can go for an evening game drive in the park and spot various species that rush to their hide-outs

Day 2: Game drive &  Boat Cruise at Kazinga Channel- Queen national park

After breakfast at the lodge, go for an early morning game drive through the park for an opportunity to see the early risen species such as the hyenas, wildebeest and many other  different wildlife species like waterbucks, lions, elephants, , giraffes, antelopes, buffaloes, leopards, warthogs, plus a variety of  bird species. You will also view different crater lakes in the park. After this 3 hours game drive, head back to the lodge for lunch and relaxation as you prepare for the afternoon 2 hour boat cruise along the Kazinga channel. The Kazinga channel connects two Lakes George and Edward and it’s a beautiful place to see more species of wildlife along the shores, it’s a home to over 560 hippos; also birds and other animals like crocodiles, elephants, antelopes among others will be seen. Day 3: Drive to Kampala

On this day after breakfast at the lodge, you will embark on a 6-7 hours’ drive to Kampala. You will have to ask your guide for moments to stretch and stops in case you want to take a look at some gorgeous physical features or even photography. Have a warm lunch en-route and proceed to the city.

Day 4: Kampala City Adventure

On this day after breakfast, get ready to explore Kampala capital city, Kampala Uganda’s capital city is also a perfect destination for family and children to enjoy every bit of the city. Places expected to visit on the Kampala city tour include the National museum and share part of the ancient moments of Uganda. you will also visit the craft market and also give the children a chance to pick out something they are interested in.

Take your children to the Wonder world amusement park, they will get a lot of fun, they will enjoy bouncing castles, water slides, the swinging boat, octopus among many others.  You can as well take your children to places like Freedom city children’s park, Twinz children’s center or you can choose to spend this whole time in Entebbe at the white sand beaches or at the Uganda wildlife education center formally known as the Zoo.

Retire back to the lodge/ Hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Reserved for Departure

This day is reserved for departure.
