Rwanda to Uganda Gorilla Trek: Rwanda to Uganda Gorilla Trek , This 3 day Rwanda to Uganda gorilla tour will begin and end in Kigali Rwanda’s capital and its largest city. The safari will give you a chance to meet our closest relative gorillas which shares almost 97% of human DNA make-up. The tour will enable you to trek through the impenetrable forest of Bwindi national park.
The park will bring you in direct contact with one of the 15 habituated gorilla families that live in the park and the one hour encounter with the apes will be an exciting moment. Meeting a few of the nearly 980 last remaining mountain gorillas is truly noteworthy,
You will arrive at Kigali international airport, from here you will transfer to by rod to Uganda and then head on to bwindi for your gorilla trekking activity. DAY 1: Arrival in Kigali and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Upon your arrival at Kigali international airport, you will be met by Mum and Dad Uganda Tours guide who will greet and brief you at about the safari. From her he will transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable national park passing through the gorgeous mountainous countryside until you cross into Uganda side.
After finalizing with the border crossing requirement continue to our picturesque accommodation on the edge of the forest in the late afternoon. Bwindi is a home to over 360 mountain gorillas, nearly 350 birds’ species, 120 mammals and other insect species.

DAY 2: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi, Return to Kigali
Wake very early in the morning go gorilla trekking, however, first report to the park headquarters to receive short briefings about the dos and don’ts while with the gorilla and also gets you allocated to the gorilla family to trek that very day. DAY 3: City tour of Kigali, Departure
Have breakfast at the lodge, and then after your guide will take you for a city tour of Kigali. Visit places like the Gisozi Genocide memorial. Here you will be fed by many informative information about what exactly sparked off this dreadful war which happened in 1994.
The memorial is a resting place of thousands killed during the genocide and a reminder of the dark past that Rwanda endured. Other places to visit on a city tour include a local market in town. Have lunch and later your guide will transfer you to Kigali Airport to meet your departure flight back home.
