    Detailed itinerary for 10 days Uganda safari holiday

    Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe

    • Morning/Afternoon: Arrive at Entebbe International Airport, where you’ll be welcomed by our Mum and Dad Uganda safari guide who will Transfer you to your pre booked hotel in Entebbe/ Kampala for relaxation.
    • Evening: Optional visit to the Entebbe Botanical Gardens or a sunset boat cruise on Lake Victoria. Enjoy dinner at your hotel and rest up for the adventure ahead.

    Day 2: Entebbe to Murchison Falls National Park optional Ziwa rhino trekking

    • Morning: After breakfast, begin your journey to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest national park.
    • Visit ziwa rhino if interested rhino trekking is $50 per person.  Stop for lunch en route, and continue to the park. Upon arrival, take a brief evening game drive to spot wildlife like elephants, buffaloes, and antelopes.
    • Evening: Set up camp or check into a lodge near the Nile River. Enjoy dinner and listen to the sounds of the wild as night falls.

    Day 3: Game Drives and Nile River Cruise at Murchison Falls

    • Morning: Early morning game drive on the northern bank of the Nile. Look out for lions, giraffes, and other wildlife in the park’s savannah many other species you missed spotting on the first da after retire back to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.
    • Afternoon: After lunch, take a boat cruise along the Nile to the base of the powerful Murchison Falls. Spot hippos, crocodiles, and numerous bird species along the way.
    • Evening: Hike to the top of the falls for breathtaking views before returning to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.

    Day 4: Transfer from Murchison Falls national park to Kibale National Park a home to Chimpanzee

    • Morning: Depart Murchison Falls and drive towards Kibale National Park, renowned for its primate population.
    • Afternoon: Arrive in Fort Portal, a town near the park, for lunch. Continue to your lodge or campsite in Kibale.
    • Evening: Relax at the lodge, or take a nature walk in the surrounding forest. Prepare for the next day’s chimpanzee trekking dinner and an overnight at the lodge

    Day 5: Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale National Park and Bigodi nature walk

    • Morning: After an early breakfast, join a guided chimpanzee trekking excursion in Kibale Forest. Track and observe these fascinating primates in their natural habitat as play in fruitful trees or tree blanches, you see the juveniles jumping from one tree to another, see them feeding and you will see other making nest for the following night.
    • Afternoon: Return to the lodge for lunch, followed by an optional visit to Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, known for its birdlife and primates.
    • Evening: Enjoy a relaxed evening at your lodge, sharing stories of the day’s experiences.

    Day 6: Transfer from Kibale national to Queen Elizabeth National Park

    • Morning: Drive from Kibale to Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda’s most popular safari destination.
    • Afternoon: Settle into your lodge or campsite and have lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a game drive in the park’s northern sector, known for its lions, elephants, and large herds of buffalo.
    • Evening: Return to your accommodation for dinner and relaxation.

    Day 7: Game drive and boat cruiser in Queen Elizabeth National Park

    • Morning: Start with an early morning game drive in the park’s Kasenyi Plains, a prime area for spotting predators and other wildlife.
    • Afternoon: After lunch, enjoy a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, which connects Lake Edward and Lake George. This area is teeming with hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species.
    • Evening: Consider an optional night game drive to see nocturnal animals like leopards and hyenas before retiring to your lodge for dinner and an overnight at the lodge

    Day 8: Queen Elizabeth to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

    Day 9: Gorilla Trekking and batwa experience in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

    • Morning: After breakfast, meet your park ranger for a briefing, then set off into the dense forest to track the mountain gorillas. The time taken to meet the gorillas is unpredictable so you may be required to move with your packed lunch and bottled in the forest to search our closest relatives who shares almost 95% of huma DNA male up Spend up to an hour with these magnificent creatures, observing their behavior.
