Rushaga Gorilla Haven Lodge, This beautiful and mid-range stylish accommodation is located close to Rushaga gorilla trail in the southern part of Bwindi Impenetrable forest national park. The lodge is located just kilometers west of Nyanamo Trading Centre in Kisoro District.

The lodge can be accessed by either road or by air transport from Entebbe/Kampala by road, it’s a drive of about 9 hours to the Lodge, and by air from Entebbe / Kajansi to Kisoro airstrips it takes about 45 min and then from Kisoro airstrips you will be picked by the shuttle/ company driver to the Lodge that you have chosen for your Gorilla activity in the area.

The Rushaga sector of bwindi national park is known for hosting the most Gorilla Families along with the nearby Nkuringo area that you can track in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.

The lodge was strategically located in an exclusive area with views of the endless kigezi hills. Virunga volcanoes onsite and the wonderful Bwindi impenetrable forest canopy.

Rushaga Gorilla Haven Lodge offers well upheld and relaxed accommodation. With a bar which operates 24/7 and a restaurant which cooks a variety of local and international cuisine. If you need special diet, its better you communicate in advance

Tourist activities to enjoy while at The Havens Lodge

• Gorilla tracking, the most sought after safari activity which done setting off from the lodge. Gorilla families which trekked from here include: (Mishaya, Kahungye, Nshongi, Bweza and Busingye.)  The Nkuringo and Nyakagezi  tracked from this location as well.
• Visit Lake Mutanda for the visits to the Islands of the African Rock Pythons.
• Forest walks, different trails well established. And they can lead you to good chances.  Of viewing different species of birds and many forest dwellers that feed and live on the bwindi forest
• Bird watching, many species of birds seen even at the lodge. The lodge has, many experts who will lead you into the forest to search for different species of birds that live in the forest.
