Where to go for birding in Uganda

Uganda offers several excellent destinations for birding enthusiasts, each providing unique opportunities to observe a diverse array of bird species in their natural habitats. Some of the top locations for birding in Uganda include:

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park:

Known primarily for its population of mountain gorillas, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park also offers exceptional birding opportunities, especially for forest-dwelling and Albertine Rift endemic species.

Queen Elizabeth National Park:

This diverse national park is home to a variety of ecosystems, including savannah, wetlands, and forests, providing a habitat for a wide range of bird species, including both migratory and resident birds.

Murchison Falls National Park:
